Liner notes
This album was written and recorded over eight years. The songs were first recorded in 2011 and 2012, then expanded during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
We recorded it with a hybrid approach, which is now the default for Born A Ghost and Milktoast Productions. All guitars went through a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier boosted with a Maxon OD9, into a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier 2x12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30s. The signal chain was a Shure SM57 (on axis, one inch away) into a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. Drums were played on an Alesis Strike Pro triggering Superior Drummer 3 with the Death and Darkness expansion, and every mix was custom. Bass went through an old-school Tech 21 SansAmp straight into the Scarlett 18i20.
All artwork was created by the band, and Taylor Jolin designed the album cover. DH Rood created the videography.
