This E.P. was written and recorded as the follow up to "The Beginning To An Ending." It was recorded at Garageland 2.0 in Tacoma, Washington. The album was recorded using the same hybrid approach as it's predecessor, however instead of using real cabinets mic'd up with real microphones, we decided to do it differently. We recorded DI tracks for each guitar and bass track, and then fed them into a Peavey 6505+ boosted with an Ibanez Tube Screamer (TS9). The drums were recorded the same way as "The Beginning To An Ending" however, we used a different Superior Drummer 3 library. For this E.P. we choose to use the Metal Foundry library. Bass was recorded using the AxeFX and our signature bass tone.
All artwork was conceptualized by the band. I wanted to experiment with the lifelessness of Artificail Intelligence and used it to create the album artwork. This was becasue the album in itself touches on the themes of suicide and drug addiciton, which made me feel lifeless at the end of my journey.
