This album was written and recorded over an 8 year span. The songs were initially recorded in 2011 and 2012, and then expanded on during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The album was recorded using a hybrid approach, which is now the default for Born A Ghost, and Milktoast Productions. All guitars were recorded using a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier boosted with a Maxon OD9. The cab in use, was a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 2x12 with Celestion VIntage 30's. THe signal chain included a Shure SM57 (on axis, 1 inch away) into a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. Drums were recorded using an Alesis Strike Pro triggering Superior Drummer 3, using the Deaht and Darkness expansion. All mixing was custom however. We recorded the bass tracks using the old school Tech21 SANSAmp direct into the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20.
All artwork was created by the band, and the album cover was designed by Taylor Jolin. The videography was created by DH Rood.
